Q - How long have you worked for Go Orange?
I started commercial Jet Boating with Go orange in September 2018.
Q - Why did you choose to live and work in Queenstown?
I lived in Te Anau and when I finished school, I wanted to drive boats full time, made the move to Queenstown and started straight away with Go.
Q - Tell us the best part of your job?
Is it lame to say going fast? Haha, I love driving the Jet Boats at speed through the shallow water, I get such a thrill.
Q - What is your favourite Go Orange experience and why?
100% the Doubtful Sound Kayak experience, there’s really no where like it in the world and when you kayak out there it gives you a real perspective of how vast and wild Fiordland is.
Q - Tell us, what do you do in your down time?
I’m a pretty keen fisherman and skier so I spend the Summer on the water and the Winters up the mountains.
Q - If you didn't work here, what would you do?
I would love to move to Europe and become a ski touring guide, that would be epic.
Q - What was life before Go Orange?
I literally just finished school, went straight from there into commercial Jet Boating.
Q - If could travel anywhere in the world where would it be?
Antarctica for sure. It’s cold, looks sick and I wanna see Penguins for real
Q - Who is your favourite person in the company?
Am I allowed to say my Dad? I kinda have to don’t I? Russel T, head of Operations, what a guy!
Q - Tell us one interesting fact about yourself?
I am the youngest jet boater in Queenstown! Also, I am proud to be following in my dad’s footsteps and learning to become a skipper.
Q - What is one thing you suggest for people to do while visiting Queenstown?
Go Jet Boating of course, and ski… always head up the mountains in the Winter months.
