Q - How long have you worked for Go Orange?
Q - Why did you choose to live and work in Queenstown?
I love working in Tourism, and Queenstown is the centre of tourism in NZ. Why would you want to be anywhere else!
Q - Tell us the best part of your job.
It’s easily the team that I work with. We have an energetic, creative, and motivated team who love what they do.
Q - What has been the most memorable moment while you have been with Go Orange?
The Milford Haven project. The complete transformation that we made to a dated and old boat – turning it into one of the best, modern, young cruise experiences in the world.
Q - What is your favourite Go Orange experience and why?
Shotover River Rafting – every time it’s different. Different conditions, different guides, different people in the raft. Each time is like the first time.
Q - What do you do in your down time?
Golf – lots of it, and at as many different courses as I can.
Q - If you didn’t work here, what would you do?
Be a pilot.
Q - Tell us, what was life before Go Orange?
I’ve worked in Tourism Management now for 6 years, prior to that I was an Officer in the NZ Navy for 12 years
Q - If you could travel anywhere in the world where would it be?
I’ve been lucky enough to have travelled extensively while I was in the Military. I’d love to go back to the USA and do an epic road trip, coast to coast. Or maybe overland in Russia…
Q - What has been one of your biggest life achievements?
Learning to fly a plane.
Q - Tell us one interesting fact about yourself?
I once rode a rollercoaster 50-times in a row
Q - What is your favourite feature on the brand new Milford Haven?
Craft beer on tap.
Q - What is one thing you suggest for people to do while visiting Queenstown?
Jetboating (with us…) for sure. It’s a must do. Try some wine, hike some hills, get off the beaten track somewhere
