Q - How long have you worked for Go Orange?
I moved from Teawamutu 1.5 years ago and walked straight into a job with Go Orange.
Q - Why did you choose to live and work in Queenstown?
I moved for work but to also live and work in the mountains.
Q - What’s the best part of your job?
The people I work with and also the awesome people I get to experience the rivers with.
Q - Any memorable moments from your time here?
It’s always fun when you mess with the younger, trainee guides. Bumping them into rocks and just general stuff when they are in the early stages of training… Don’t worry, I was once one of them.
Q - Favourite experience in the company?
It’s not really an experience but the parties. Go Orange sure know how to throw a good one!
Q - What do you do out of work?
Socialise, Frisbee golf and travel around the country with my girlfriend.
Q - If you didn’t work here what would you do?
I would love to be a Pilot, flying big passenger planes around the world.
Q - What was life before Go Orange?
I worked on a Honey farm up north.
Q - If you could travel anywhere where will it be?
I would love to visit Dubai
Q - Describe your perfect day in Queenstown?
Cans and frisbee golf, what else do you need?
Q - Favourite person in the company?
Shhh, probably Tuscany and Raju.
Q - If you could raft anywhere in the world where would it be?
Switzerland, I’ve heard its epic.
Q - Whats your favourite River you have ever rafted?
The Shotover River, it’s so much fun.
Q - Why did you decide to become a whitewater raft guide?
Because guiding is fun. I studied it up north in Tai-Poutini and knew it was for me.
Q - What’s one thing you suggest for people to do when they visit Queenstown?
Go on the TSS Earnslaw and have the buffet, so so good!
Q - Tell us one Interesting facts about yourself?
I used to race BMX professionally.
