Q - How long have you worked for Go Orange?
I have worked for Go Orange in Milford Sound for one month.

Q - Why did you choose to live and work in Milford Sound?
Because it was one if the most beautiful places in the world and I wanted to live somewhere unique.

Q - What is the best part of your job?
I love being responsible for boat duties, setting the lines, guiding it in and making sure the doors are shut etc.

Q - Tell us about a memorable moment during your time with Go Orange?
My first trip out on the boat was an incredibly clear day, the water was turquoise, there was a huge pod of dolphins and they followed the boat in the Bow waves the whole time.

Q - What is your favourite feature on the brand new Milford Haven boat?
The top deck is an awesome place to sit on a sunny day.

Q - Tell us, what do you like to do outside of work?
Whitewater kayaking is my thing, hiking and mountain biking too.

Q - What is your favourite part about living and working in Milford Sound?
The fact I get to live and work in one of the most beautiful places on Earth.

Q - If you didn’t for Go Orange what would you do?
I would probably work in a café somewhere in Te Anau or Christchurch area.

Q - If you could live and work anywhere in the world where would it be?
This is so hard to answer!! Milford is the place I want to be right now, anywhere else would be hard to compare to the life and work here.

Q - What was life before Go Orange?
I was doing my Masters degree, before that I was working in Canada.

Q - If you could travel anywhere in the world where would it be?
I think I would have to choose Antarctica.

Q - Describe your perfect day in Fiordland?
Beautiful clear days, kayaking from Deep water basin into the Fiord, if you get joined by Dolphins, that’s a winner!

Q - Have you travelled around New Zealand?
If so what is your favourite spot? So far Milford Sound but I am so keen to explore the surrounding Fiords.

Q - What is one thing you suggest for people to do while visiting New Zealand?
Try and avoid the crowds by getting off the beaten track.
