I have worked for Go Orange in Milford Sound for three months.

Q - Why did you choose to live and work in Milford Sound?
The mountains, the rivers, the coastline and the community of people who get amongst it all

Q - What is the best part of your job?
Listening to my team laugh and talk about their first Summer here in Milford Sound.

The smiles and excitement from the crew, Kara, Russell and Sam when the new Milford Haven boat had her first cruise around the sound.

The top deck and craft beer on tap.

Fly, dance and ride motorbikes. I love hiking in the mountains with my man.

Q - What is your favourite part about living and working in Milford Sound?
The community of people who live and work here.

Q - If you didn’t for Go Orange what would you do?
I would still live and work in the Southern Fiords of new Zealand or back home in the mountains of Alaska.

Q - If you could live and work anywhere in the world where would it be?
I am living and working where I want to live, Fiordland National park is incredible.

Guiding in Alaska before I came to New Zealand 6 years ago. I then worked in the craft beer industry and for the past five years I was Kayak guiding in Milford Sound.

Argentina, I want to climb, eat and dance the tango.

Q - Describe your perfect day in Fiordland?
100+ knot winds, 300mls of rain, lightning and thunder. Epic waterfalls appear and there’s no where quite as electric when in the middle of a proper Fiordland storm.

Q - Have you travelled around New Zealand? If so what is your favourite spot?
Yes! Cape Reinga to Stewart island, my favourite spot is Dusky Sound in Fiordland National Park.

Q - What is one thing you suggest for people to do while visiting New Zealand?
Fly! Helicopter, fixed wing plane, skydive or paraglide whatever you do just get in the air. This country is so epic from above!
