Q - How long have you worked for Go Orange?
For over a year now, I was part of the OG Jet Boat crew and transitioned over when Go Orange bought us.
Q - Why did you choose to live and work in Queenstown?
I wanted to leave the UK and be in the mountains somewhere.
Q - What’s the best part of your job?
I love working outside and being in the sun by the lake, we also have a pretty cute kiosk dog that we hang out with.
Q - Any memorable moments from your time here?
I’m pretty sure I’m famous in Korea, there was a huge, huge group of Korea women once who wouldn’t leave the kiosk before they all got a photo with me. If you ever go to Korea, let me know if you see my face.
Q - Favourite experience in the company?
It has to be the Shotover Rafting.
Q - What do you do out of work?
I love just hanging out with friends and my girlfriend. Perky’s floating bar is our go to place.
Q - If you didn’t work here what would you do?
I would work for a ski company somewhere in the mountains.
Q - What was life before Go Orange?
I lived in the UK and worked for a company that ran ski tours in and around France, it was pretty epic.
Q - If you could travel anywhere where will it be?
I would love to travel around South East Asia, or Ski in Japan.
Q - Describe your perfect day in Queenstown?
Hiking Ben Lomond is one of the best hikes in town, followed by camping with friends for sure.
Q - Favourite person in the company?
It has to be Bear, the dog.
Q - Favourite mission ever?
When I first moved to Queenstown, we went on a roady and saw the Abel Tasman National Park for the first time, that was pretty awesome such a great spot.
Q - What’s one thing you suggest for people to do when they visit Queenstown?
100% get that adrenaline fix and go Bungy jumping, it’s so iconic.
Q - Tell us one Interesting facts about yourself?
Erm, I didn’t pass my driving test till I was here in New Zealand and I was 30 years old.
