The driving force

Based in Te Anau, you’ll work in one of the most beautiful areas of New Zealand, showcasing our awesome backyard as you journey deep into Fiordland.
Your daily commute will be along the iconic Milford Road, carrying our customers into Milford Sound to cruise the fiord. For those with the right experience, there is also the potential to take on the
Wilmot Pass, travelling into Deep Cove in Doubtful Sound. You’ll need to have at least a Class 2 Drivers licence with a P Endorsement to be suitable for this role.

You have a determined and enthusiastic sales approach, love the great outdoors and will thrive living in Milford Sound, deep in the heart of Fiordland.

Haven Crew

You’ll be a food and beverage expert, confident barista and master in creating unforgettable experiences on our awesome floating venue.

Gallery Crew

You will cook up a storm, be clean and organised, and be an all round team player.

Bus Driver

We all know there are bills to pay, but we care about your weekends too, so your work week is based on an average of 45 hours over 4 days.
We thrive on variety. Your 4-day roster will include; driving luxury touring coaches into Fiordland, Unimog trips down one of the world’s mostdangerous roads, and the added bonus of driving up to
Cardrona in the winter months.

Living the dream?

Go Orange needs someone to cruise Doubtful Sound on the Tasman Explorer carrying up to 45 passengers, showcasing the beautiful area we live in. 

You will be experienced in your field, organised and safety focused, a natural people person and love to spin a yarn with our adventurers. You’ll have excellent ship-handling abilities, enabling you to take on the potentially challenging Fiordland weather. 

As Skipper you have complete responsibility for vessel, crew and passengers and to ensure the vessel is operated within legislative requirements and Go Orange guidelines at all times. Operational tasking is provided on a day-to-day basis by the local operation management - this can often be fluid, and flexibility is an important trait.

The following qualifications are a must:
1. Skipper Restricted Limits (SRL) ticket < 24m endorsement (or similar ticket)
2. Passenger endorsement (or similar ticket)

You will also have the following skills & experience:
1. A solid understanding of all applicable Maritime rules and safety systems
2. Operational management including SOPs and hazard management
