Departure Location

The water taxi will depart from the Queenstown Go Orange Kiosk, Steamer Wharf. You can’t miss us, we are the ones surrounded by Orange flags.  If you have booked Unimog experience please arrive 15 minutes before departure. This experience departs 4 times a day between 15th November – 29th February.

What to bring

Please bring sensible clothing and footwear. You are more than welcome to wear your sunglasses, hats and other accessories. Don’t forget to bring your camera, GoPro and video devices. Selfie sticks are also welcome! We want to see your adventure!

You are also more than welcome to bring snacks, fruit, muesli bars and quick to eat food is advised. A reusable water bottle is also advised.

The Ferry is covered from the elements to keep adventurers mostly warm and dry, but they may get still get wet. Please wear sensible hard-wearing shoes and clothing suitable for all weather. Contact Go Orange if you are unsure of traveller suitability.
